Event Description

“GDG DevFests are large, community-run events that can offer speaker sessions across multiple product areas, all-day hack-a-thons, code labs, and more.” – And Berlin got its own!

This year, Berlin’s DevFest will be held at ImmoScout24, who generously offered us their support. DevFest is a 3-day event which includes multiple themed tracks, talks, workshops and a hackathon.

Here's our (preliminary!) schedule:

Friday, November 1st: Bootcamp

[2pm / 14:00 - 7pm / 19:00]

On the Android track Dirk Jäckel of the GDG Berlin Android will help you take your first steps in the Android development world.
On the Cloud track Alexander Surma of the GDG Berlin Golang will kickstart you into the Go language.
On the HTML5 track you have the opportunity to have a guided introduction to creating your own Chrome Apps.

The workshops start at 2pm.

Saturday, November 2nd: Conference

[08:30am / 08:30 - 7pm / 19:00]

A multitude of talks will be held on our 3 tracks Android, Web and Cloud

Sunday, November 3rd: Hackathon

[09:00am / 09:00 - 6.30pm / 18:30]

Create a project fitting the Hackathon’s theme (TBA) and win gadgets.

During the whole event food and drinks will be supplied so your brain can function at the highest possible level throughout Berlin’s DevFest.
